Director Atlee to present Arjun Das’s Andhagaaram

Superhit filmmaker Atlee will be next presenting a film titled ‘Andhaghaaram’. This is his banner A For Apple’s second production after debuting with ‘Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thora’ in 2017. ‘Andhaghaaram’ directed by V Vignarajan has been in the making for over a year.

The film stars ‘Katihi’ fame Arjun Das, Vinoth Kishan, Pooja Ramachandran, Kumar Natarajan and Misha Ghoshal in major roles. On the technical side, singer-composer Pradeep Kumar is handling the music department. AM Edwin Sakay is the DOP and Sathyaraj Natarajan is editing the film.

‘Andhaghaaram’, as per the makers, is supernatural thriller. The plot in IMDB goes like this, “A blind conjurer’s struggle for survival, a washed-up cricketer’s fight for deliverance and a desolate psychiatrist’s quest for reclamation lead them to a labyrinth of obscurity while their lives are intertwined in a web of deceit, dismay and darkness.”

Shoot for the film was wrapped up last year. Director Atlee got to watch the film recently and was very impressed by it. The film’s trailer will be out on April 14 on the occasion of Tamil New Year. It is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jayaram from Passion Studios Production in association with K Poorna Chandra of O2 Pictures and Priya Atlee.
