Director Midhun Manuel Thomas about Aadu 2

Young filmmaker Midhun Manuel Thomas recently announced his upcoming movie titled Alamara. Alamara will have Sunny Wayne, Aju Varghese and Renji Panicker playing the lead roles. Shoot for the movie was started today in Bangalore.

Midhun Manuel Thomas in a recent interview shared interesting details about a possible sequel to Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu, his debut movie.

Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu released last year was a box office failure but the movie garnered a huge fan following after the release of the DVDs. There are many fans for Shaji Pappan and the gang who have been waiting to hear about a sequel to the movie.

Midhun Manuel Thomas said that he had earlier planned to start works for the sequel this year but he could not get an exciting script that could please the audience.

He also said that he will definitely do the sequel once he gets an interesting script. Shaji Pappan and his gang are hugely popular among the netizens of Kerala. The director says that people will not forget the characters that easily because of the various troll pages in Malayalam.

Midhun Manuel Thomas  entered the film industry writing the story and screenplay for the romantic blockbuster Om Shanti Oshana. He later debuted as a director with Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu. This out and out comedy entertainer had Jayasurya, Saiju Kurup, Dharmajan and a host of other actors.

His last release was Ann Maria Kalipilanu, a family entertainer that had Deiva Thirumagal fame Sara Arjun playing the title character. Sunny Wayne played the main lead while Dulquer Salmaan did a cameo in the movie.
