Director Ranjith to strike back with Mammootty and Mohanlal movies

Veteran director Ranjith Balakrishnan is all set to strike back with super star movies as he had roped in Mega Star Mammootty and Super Star Mohanlal for his two upcoming movies. Ranjith’s previous outing Leela with Biju Menon in the lead, was a box office flop. But it got good reviews from critics. Before that he had got average box office success with Mohanlal movie Loham, but it got only mixed response and Ranjith faced a lot of criticism as well for making that movie.

So he wants to be in the scheme of things again and roped in his two great friends, the ones who always given great successes to him, Mohanlal and Mammootty in his upcoming projects.

His next film will be with Mammootty and he started writing the screenplay of this movie as per reports. It will be a very different one from his recent flicks. The Mohanlal movie will start only after that and there are reports that Manju Warrier will also play a prominent character in Ranjith-Mohanlal movie.

Some reports also said that it will be a satirical film movie like Spirit, which he made with Mohanlal in the lead in 2012.
