Former president of our Nation, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam passed away half an hour ago. He was presenting a paper at IIM shilling today and he collapsed down during the presentation of that paper there. He was 83 years old as well.

Abdul Kalam was delivering a lecture to the students of the B-school of the Indian institute of management at Shillong today evening and during the presentation of a paper he felt uneasy and collapsed down there at that moment. Without delay the Former president was taken to the famous Bethany Hospital there and the director of the hospital Mr. John Sailo Ryntathiang said that the former President was almost dead when he was taken to the hospital.

He was in very critical condition and the doctors did their best to revive the great man and save him from death but failed as it was too late to do anything about it, he said to the media. Doctors told to the media that the great man had died of Cardiac arrest.
