Drishyam 2: All major actors from first part to be retained!

‘Drishyam 2’ was one of the biggest surprise announcements in recent memory. The project itself got initiated after some developments. Though director Jeethu Joseph had been pondering over an idea for a sequel for the last few years, a full-fledged script was developed only recently during the lockdown days. Mohanlal and Jeethu were working on another film titled ‘Ram’ when the lockdown was announced. Since it is impossible to shoot in foreign countries, the film has been shelved for now. Instead, they will begin works on ‘Drishyam 2’ when restrictions are lifted.

‘Drishyam 2’ will continue exactly from where the first part ended. The story will once again revolve around the lives of Georgekutty and family. Along with Mohanlal, all the major actors including Meena, Ansiba Haasan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sarath and Kalabhavan Shajon are most likely to be retained. The makers are planning to wrap up the entire shoot in just around 60. Aashirvad Cinemas is producing the film.
