Drishyam 2 teaser to be out on New Year’s Day!

Superstar Mohanlal has announced that the teaser of his much-anticipated film ‘Drishyam 2’ will be out on New Year’s Day. The video has been planned to be released exactly at 00:00 on January 1. Post-production works are currently progressing in full swing as the film is set to be Mohanlal’s first release once theatres resume functioning.

‘Drishyam 2’ is the sequel to the record-breaking blockbuster that got released in 2013. Jeethu Joseph, who directed that film, is helming this one as well. The focus is once again on Georgekutty and family, who are still feeling the guilt of having committed the crime. According to Jeethu Joseph, the film will be an intense emotional drama.

Along with Mohanlal, actors like Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Aneesh Menon and Esther Anil are also reprising their roles from the first part. Murali Gopy, Ganesh Kumar, Sai Kumar and Anjali Nair are the some of the new additions to the cast.

The film’s technical core crew comprises of DOP Satheesh Kurup, music director Anil Johnson and editor Vinayakan. Antony Perumbavoor is producing it under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
