Dulquer-Bejoy Nambiar movie Solo starts rolling

Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming movie will be Solo, directed by Bollywood filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar.

Solo will be a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu. The movie was officially kick-started today with a Pooja. Director Bejoy Nambiar, Dulquer Salmaan, Antony Perumbavoor, actresses Ann Augustine, Sheelu Abraham and many other film personalities were present for the Pooja.

It is said that Dulquer will be playing a never before seen kind of role in Malayalam. Female lead and other cast members for the movie have not yet been revealed.

Solo will mark the debut of Bejoy Nambiar in Mollywood. He is an established filmmaker in Bollywood with his movies like Shaitaan, the bilingual David and more recently Wazir starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akthar in the lead.

A long time associate of legendary director Mani Ratnam, Bejoy recently worked as an associate director for the former’s upcoming movie Kaatru Veliyidai.

According to reports, Solo will be filmed as three schedules in Kochi, Mumbai and Ladakh.

Dulquer Salmaan meanwhile is shooting for Sathyan Anthikad’s Jomonte Suvisheshangal. He is yet to shoot for the second schedule of Amal Neerad’s movie. Dulquer has also signed for a mass entertainer with debutant Salaam Bukhari.
