Dulquer Salmaan ahead of Virat Kohli in the list of most influential young Indians

Mollywood youth icon Dulquer Salmaan now become one of the most popular star in South India and in Malayalam cinema, he is second only to Mohanlal in crowd pulling Capacity. He is the most followed young actor here in Mollywood and one of the most sought after star as well. Now, he had got another recognition as well. He is been at the 4th position in the list of most influential Young Indians, published by GQ Magazine. Dulquer Salmaan is ahead of Indian Cricket’s new sensation Virat Kohli in the list.

The first spot in the list is occupied by Arunabh Kumar and Biswapati Sarkar who is popular in India through web series. The second spot belongs to singer Benny Dayal who become popular through the songs composed by AR Rahman. The DJ-VJ team of Gaurav Malekkar and Avinash Kumar occupies the third spot in the list. Dulquer Salmaan’s recent successes and his way of choosing films helped him to get the 4th spot in the list.

The Magazine mentioned about Dulquer’s films like OK Kanmani directed by Mani Ratnam and his recent film Kammattipadam. Anurag Kashyap had tweeted about this movie and the magazine asks whether the appreciation from Anurag Kashyap bring Dulquer to Bollywood or not. His OK Kanmani is now remaking in Bollywood by Karan Johar (producer) and Aditya Roy Kapoor playing Dulquar’s part in the Hindi version.

The 5th in the list is Street Artist Haneef Qureshi and Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is at 6th position. Viral Kohli got the 9th position in the list as well.
