Dulquer Salmaan celebrates his 30th birthday today

Dulquer Salmaan is now one of the most popular young stars here in Kerala. Even though he came here with the label of Mega Star Mammootty’s son, he had made his own space in our industry in a rather fast pace. After Mohanlal and Mammootty, now Dulquer Salmaan is the one who can make the crowd to rush into the cinema halls here. It will not be wrong to say that more than a Super Star movie, the youth in Kerala waits for the release of a Dulquer Salmaan movie. That much is the impact he had made on the youngsters of Kerala.

Within 5 year time from his debut here, he become one of the most followed young star in Mollywood and he even got huge number of followers from other South Indian states as well. When he made his debut through Sreenath Rajendran movie named Second Show no one really thought that he will go miles from there. Because, even though his movies were done well at box office owes to the support from fans, he not really impressed the critics with his acting skills.

But with movies like Ok Kanmani by Mani Ratnam, Charlie by Martin Prakatt, Kammatipaadam by Rajeev Ravi etc, he really made the critics to appreciate him and they all now agrees that this man have the potential in him to take Malayalam cinema forward.

He had won his first State award as well for the best actor through his performance in Charlie and his performance in Kammatipaadam also gave him great appreciation from all around India this year.
