Dulquer Salmaan and Gokul Suresh : Mudhugauv travels through same path travelled by Second Show

Super Star Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh’s debut film Muthugow had released last Friday and getting positive response from all over. The film directed by debutant Vipin Das is a comedy thriller produced by Friday Film House and Carnival Motion Pictures Private Limited together. Gokul Suresh getting great appreciation for his cool performance as Bharath in the movie and everybody says that he will stay here for long.

Young Super Star Dulquer Salmaan had lend his voice to narrate the story of this film and the film begins and ends with Dulquer’s voice. There is an interesting fact about Dulquer and Gokul Suresh is that, the debut of these two bear some similarities. Dulquer Salmaan had made his debut through the film named Second Show.

Like Mudhugauv, Second Show was also a comedy thriller. Second Show was directed by Sreenath Rajendran and it was his maiden venture as well. Even though Dulquer and Gokul Suresh can make their entry to Mollywood through a big film by a big director, they chose to make a quiet entry through the films directed by newcomers.

Second Show was economically a profitable venture due to its low production cost and Muthugow also going that way travelled by Second Show. It may be a coincidence, but an interesting one indeed.
