Dulquer Salmaan’s wife Amaal heaps praise on Kalyani and Kalidas

‘Putham Pudhu Kaalai’, the Tamil anthology that got released in Amazon Prime, has been getting good response online. Sudha Kongara, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Karthik Subbaraj and Suhasini Mani Ratnam have directed a segment each in this anthology. Out of the five films, Sudha Kongara’s segment ‘Ilamai Idho Idho’ seems to be the most loved one.

Kalidas Jayaram, Urvashi, Jayaram and Kalyani Priyadarshan star in it. The story penned by Malayali actress Shruthi Ramachandran and husband Francis Thomas is about how being in love makes one feel young. While the veterans Urvashi and Jayaram are excellent together, it is the endearing chemistry of the two youngsters that seems to have grabbed all the attention.

Kalidas and Kalyani’s endearing chemistry has earned appreciation from many including Dulquer Salmaan’s wife Amaal. She has posted a note in her Instagram handle praising the duo. Most critic reviews have also been in favour of their performances.
