Duvvada Jagannadham becomes Allu Arjun’s third film to enter the 100 crore club

Telugu star Allu Arjun’s latest release was Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ, a mass entertainer directed by Harish Shankar. The movie was opened to excellent response from the actor’s huge business. Critics also rated it as a good watch for all those who love masala flicks.

Duvvada Jagannadham is posing serious threat to Salman Khan’s Tubelight in most overseas centres. As per latest collection reports, the movie has already gone past the Rs 100 crore mark. DJ is now Allu Arjun’s third film to enter the elite club after Race Gurram and Sarrainodu. It is also the third highest worldwide grosser for Allu Arjun.

It is phenomenal that a South Indian movie has managed to gross over Rs 100 crore within a week from it’s release. Allu Arjun has extended his fan base considerably and that is evident from the earnings of his last few movies.

Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ is an action romance entertainer, written and directed by Harish Shankar. He is popular for delivering blockbusters movies like Gabbar Singh and Mirapakay. Model turned actor Pooja Hegde is the female lead in DJ. Devi Sri Prasad has handled the music department, marking his seventh successful collaboration with Allu Arjun. The movie is produced by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
