Prithviraj starrer flick directed by RS Vimal, Ennu Ninte Moideen had bagged a record satellite amount of 6.87 crore rupees. As per reports Asianet had brought the satellite right of the film. Ennu Ninte Moideen that released in last year November had completed 100 days of run in theaters and it had become the second biggest grosser from Kerala and now right behind Mohanlal- Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam in its Kerala gross records.

In worldwide gross, it is in number 3 spot, behind Drishyam and Nivin Pauly- Alphonse Puthren’s Premam respectively. But as far as the satellite right is now concerned, Ennu Ninte Moideen had taken the first spot with 6.87 crores leaving Mohanlal’s Drishyam and Nivin Pauly’s Premam behind. Drishyam had earned 6.5 crore as satellite right from Asianet and Premam had also earned rupees 6 crore as per reports.

This is the records that films made in single channel Satellite rights. There is double channel records as well and that is holding by Mohanlal’s film Loham directed by Renjith. It had earned rupees 7 crore from Asianet and Kairali jointly. As per reports Asianet had given 6 crores and Kairali had given 1 crore to purchase the film to broadcast on their channels.

Usually Mohanlal, Dileep films gets superb satellite rights and their films gets huge amount even before the release of the film. Channels are buying Mohanlal and Dileep films giving maximum amount because of the repeated audience their films found when telecasting on mini screen. Prithviraj also now seems to be raising to that level as his film Ennu Ninte Moideen now got such a huge price. Ennu Ninte Moideen got this huge amount may be because of the impact it had made in Kerala.

Nivin Pauly films also now-a-days gets an amount around 5 crores as his last two films got that. His Oru Vadakkan Selfi had got around 5.5 crore from two channel rights and Premam had got 6 crore as we mentioned earlier.
