Excellent opening for Forensic; Aashiq Abu congratulates Tovino Thomas and team for their success!

Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Forensic’ has opened to highly positive response from all corners. After the reviews and general feedback from the audience, it is safe to say that the film has taken an excellent opening. Film discussion platforms in social medias have been abuzz with posts about ‘Forensic’, with the majority giving it a thumbs up. Meanwhile, filmmaker Aashiq Abu has congratulated Tovino and team for their success.

‘Forensic’ is written and directed by Anas Khan and Akhil Paul. It is an investigative thriller centred around a series of abduction and killing of girl children. Mamta Mohandas essays the character of an IPS officer named Rithika Xavier and she heads the investigation. Tovino Thomas plays the lead role of a medico legal advisor in the film. ‘Bigil’ fame Reba Monica John assists him. Saiju Kurup, Anwar Shereef, ‘Lilli’ fame Dhanesh Anand, Renji Panicker, Prathap Pothen, Giju John, Anil Murali, Srikanth Murali and many others are part of the supporting cast.

It is probably the first time that a full length film related to forensic science is being made in Malayalam. The writer-director duo of Anas Khan and Akhil Paul have come extensive research works to script the film and it is evident from the usage of various scientific techniques to crack the case. Jakes Bejoy’s chilling background score also helps in amplifying the thrills.
