Excellent response for Shylock teaser!!

The teaser of Megastar Mammootty’s upcoming mass entertainer ‘Shylock’ got released online. The teaser, which has a duration of 1.45 minutes is packed with mass moments. It is nearing 1 million views in YouTube and is currently trending at the top. The teaser will also be screened in all theatres playing ‘Mamangam’.

‘Shylock’ is directed by Ajai Vasudev, who has earlier helmed ‘Masterpiece’ and ‘Rajadhiraja’. Scripted jointly by Bibin Mohan and Aneesh Hameed, the film is touted to be a complete mass entertainer. In the teaser, Mammootty looks extremely stylish with his devilish laugh and attitude. Fans say that his character in ‘Shylock’ looks like a combination of Nithyananda Shenoy of ‘Puthan Panam’ and Rajan Zacharia of ‘Kasaba’.

‘Shylock’ is a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual with the Tamil version titled as ‘Kuselan’. Veteran Tamil actor Raj Kiran is making his Malayalam debut with this film. He has also penned the dialogues for the Tamil version. Meena, Bibin George, Baiju, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Anson Paul, Arthana Binu, John Vijay, Arjun Nandakumar, Hareesh Kanaran and many others are also part of the supporting cast.

Joby George of Goodwill Entertainment is producing the film, which is slated to hit screens on January 23.
