Fahadh Faasil-Anwar Rasheed movie to start rolling soon

We had earlier reported about Fahadh Faasil teaming up with director Anwar Rasheed. The movie is reportedly scripted by a newcomer. Fahadh had earlier in an interview revealed that it will be the biggest film in his career.

The duo had earlier planned to work on a movie titled as Maniyarayil Jinn but it could not materialize due to some unknown reasons. This upcoming movie which is yet to be titled will go on floors very soon.

Cinematographer/ filmmaker Amal Neerad has been roped in to wield the camera. Anwar Rasheed will producing the movie under his banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainment. They are planning to release the movie for Christmas this year.

In 2013, Anwar Rasheed directed the segment Aami in 5 Sundharikal, an anthology of five movies. Fahadh Faasil played the central character in that segment. Apart from that, Fahadh has also worked under Anwar Rasheed’s production in Bangalore Days, directed by Anjali Menon.

Meanwhile Fahadh has a list of movies lined up. Role Models directed by Rafi and Dileesh Pothen’s Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum are the two movies awaiting release.

Fahadh is shooting simultaneously for two Tamil movies currently. He is playing the antagonist in Thani Oruvan director Mohan Raja’s Velaikaaran which also stars Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara and Sneha. He is also one of the leads in National award winner Thyagarajan Kumararaja’s untitled film. Vijay Sethupathy, Samantha, Nadiya Moidu and director Mysskin are also part of the cast.

In Malayalam, he has committed for three new projects- Carbon with Munnariyippu director Venu, an untitled rural entertainer with G Marthandan and debutant Vivek’s Aanengilum Allengilum, a rom-com entertainer also starring Sunny Wayne in the lead.
