Fahadh Faasil can compete with any Hollywood actor, proud to share screen space with him: Sivakarthikeyan

Fahadh Faasil, unarguably one of the most talented actors of this generation, is making his Tamil debut this year with Velaikaaran, directed by Mohan Raja. The movie stars Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara in the lead roles and Fahadh is playing the antagonist.

Shoot for the movie has already been completed and is slated to hit screens worldwide on September 29. The movie is highly anticipated by the audience of both the states as Velaikaaran is Fahadh’s first attempt in a full fledged negative role and his on-screen chemistry with Sivakarthikeyan is something exciting to look forward to.

In a recent chat with his Twitter followers, Sivakarthikeyan was asked about his experience working with Fahadh. The actor replied that he feels proud to have shared screen space with an actor like Fahadh, who he believes can compete with any Hollywood actor. Here’s what Sivakarthikeyan tweeted,

Fahadh Faasil has already won quite a few fans among the cine buffs outside Kerala with his performance in films like Bangalore Days, Maheshinte Prathikaram and with his latest release Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. With Velaikaaran, he is certain to extend his popularity with the common audience of Tamil Nadu.

Velaikaaran is director Mohan Raja’s next film after the widely acclaimed Thani Oruvan. Similar to his previous film, this one will also be a commercial entertainer that deals with a very relevant social issue. Young sensation Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. The movie is produced by RD Raja under the banner of 24 AM Studios.
