It’s Fahadh Faasil versus Tovino Thomas this Christmas!

The Christmas season is closing in and several films are getting ready to cash in on the holiday period. Tovino’s ‘Ente Ummante Peru’ and Fahadh Faasil’s ‘Njan Prakashan’ have already been confirmed as Christmas release. Both Tovino and Fahadh are fresh from the success of their last release – ‘Oru Kupprasidha Payyan’ and ‘Varathan’, respectively. Needless to say, we have got an exciting box office clash on cards.

Tovino has pinned high hopes on ‘Ente Ummante Peru’. The actor assures that the movie will be a fun filled family entertainer. Directed by debutant Jose Sebastian, the movie has Tovino and veteran actress Urvasi in the leads. As the title suggests, the movie tells an endearing story of a mother-son relationship. Newcomer Saipriya plays the female lead. Shanthi Krishna, Dileesh Pothan, Hareesh Kanaran, Siddique and Mammukoya are also part of the supporting cast.

On the other hand, ‘Njan Prakashan’ is special for many reasons. The movie marks Fahadh’s second outing with director Sathyan Anthikad after the successful ‘Oru Indian Pranayakadha’. The writer-director duo of Sreenivasan and Sathyan Anthikad, known for delivering several hit films, are reuniting after a 16-year-long gap with this movie. Recently, the makers had released a teaser which got phenomenal response from the viewers.

The fact that both ‘Njan Prakashan’ and ‘Ente Ummante Peru’ are fun entertainers capable of pulling the family audience makes the clash even more interesting. The exact release dates will be announced only after the censor board clearance.
