February is going to witness a flurry of release in Mollywood

2016 January does not had big releases and there are not many releases at all in January. The big films released in January was Prithviraj starrer flick Pavada by G Marthandan and Fahad Fazil film Monsoon Mangoes. Unni Mukundan starrer film Style by Binu S, Anoop Menon starrer Malgudi Days was other releases of January and some small films like Randu Pennkuttikal and critically appreciated Jalam released in this month as well. But February is going to be big for Mollywood as almost 5 films are getting ready to release in the first 2 weeks of the month.

The first one which will come in February was the big one Action Hero Biju starring Nivin Pauly and directed by Abrid Shine. It is a much anticipated film and coming to theater after postponing the release date couple of times. This will be the first release of Youngstar Nivin Pauly after the miraculous success of Premam. This will be the second association of Abrid Shine and Nivin Pauly after the movie 1983 as well. They are jointly produced the film. The songs of the film is already a hit. It will release on February 4th.

February 5th will witness the release of Fahad Fazil film named Maheshinte Prathikaram directed by debutant Dileesh Pothen. Ashiq Abu produced this film and Fahad is hoping for a success after long time in box office with this flick. On February 12th, Mammootty starrer flick Puthiya Niyamam will hit the screens. It was directed by A K Sajan and it is also coming after postponing the releasing dates a number of times before. Nayan Thara is the heroine of the film and it carries great hopes it as well.

As per reports, February 12th will see two more releases and they are AakashVani which has Kavya Madhavan and Vijay babu in the lead and Hello Namathe which has Bhavana, Miya George, Vinay Fort, Soubin Shaheer etc playing the lead roles. Both films were directed by debutant directors. So it will be a fantastic February for film lovers for sure.
