First look poster of Aaha released on Indrajith’s birthday

Indrajith Sukumaran is celebrating his birthday today. The makes of his new film ‘Aaha’ have released their first look poster on this special day. The star’s brother, Prithviraj shared the poster through his social media handle. ‘Aaha’ is a sports flick based on Kerala’s own sport, ‘tug of war’ aka ‘vadamvali’.

Debutant Bibin Paul Samuel is editing and directing the film. Tobit Chirayath has scripted the film, which is said to be inspired from a famous team ‘Aaha Neeloor’ that had won a stunning 72 matches out of the 73 they played in the 2008 season.

Along with Indrajith, the film also stars ‘Vaarikuzhiyile Kolapathakam’ fame Amit Chakalakkal and Ashwin K Kumar in major roles. Santhy Balachandran of ‘Tharangam’ fame plays the female lead. The film has a relatively new set of names behind the camera. DOP Rahul Balachandran, music directors Sayanora Philip and Shiyad Kabeer (background score) are part of the technical crew.

‘Aaha’ is being produced by Prem Abraham of Zsa Zsa Productions.
