First look poster of Mohanlal’s Aarattu released

Mohanlal is currently shooting for his new film ‘Aarattu’ directed by B Unnikrishnan. The film scripted by Udhayakrishna is touted to be a mass-masala entertainer set in a rural backdrop. Mohanlal plays a larger-than-life character named Neyyattinkara Gopan in it. The makers have just released a first look poster featuring a back shot of Mohanlal getting down from a car. One can say that the poster stays true to the mass genre of the film.

As per the makers, ‘Aarattu’ will be a proper entertainer with action, comedy and all essential commercial ingredients in it. Popular South Indian actress Shraddha Srinath plays the female lead. She will be seen as an IAS officer in the film. Others in the cast include Siddique, Sai Kumar, Nedumudi Venu, Indrans, Neha Saxena, Nandu, Kochu Preman, Vijayaraghavan, Swasika, Rachana Narayanankutty and Sheela.

Vijay Ulaganath is the cinematographer and edits are being done by Shameer Muhammed. Rahul Raj is handling the music department.
