First song from Oru Kuttanadan Blog to be released tomorrow!

Mammootty’s Oru Kuttanadan Blog is gearing up for release. The movie which marks the directorial debut of scenarist Sethu is touted to be a rural based fun entertainer. From the promos, the movie promises to be a colorful paisa-vasool entertainer that families seek during this coming festival season. First song from the movie will be released tomorrow evening in social medias.

Oru Kuttandan Blog marks the debut of Sreenath Sivasankaran as a composer. Sreenath is noted for his stint as a contestant in the hugely popular reality show, Idea Star Singer. He has composed four sings in the night out of which one is rendered by actor Unni Mukundan.

Oru Kuttanadan Blog has Mammootty playing the role of Hari, a big-brother like figure for the youngsters in the locality. New-gen actors like Jacob Gregory, Shaheen Siddique, Vivek Gopan, Sanju Sivaram and Jude Anthany Joseph play his close acquaintances. Anu Sithara, Raai Laxmi and Shamna Kasim play the three female leads.

Sethu has scripted the movie which will be narrated interestingly through various episodes of a blog. Young star Sunny Wayne is playing the role of a blogger in the movie. His portions were recently shot in Dubai. Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vineeth Kumar, Lalu Alex, Thesni Khan, Nandan Unni and Sohan Seenulal are also part of the supporting cast.

The movie is being produced by Murali Dharan and Santha Murali under the banner of Anantha Vision. Reports suggest August 24 as the release date but an official confirmation is still awaited.
