Game of Thrones Star Jerome Flynn Joins Mohanlal’s Empuraan

Hollywood actor Jerome Flynn, widely recognized as Bronn in Game of Thrones, has officially joined the cast of Empuraan, the much-anticipated sequel to Lucifer. Aashirvad Cinemas recently released a special character reveal video, in which Flynn shared his enthusiasm for being part of the film and described it as a unique experience. Beyond his acclaimed stint in Game of Thrones (2011–2019), Flynn has appeared in popular series like Ripper Street, 1923, and the Black Mirror episode Shut Up and Dance.

Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Empuraan continues the gripping story of Mohanlal’s character, Stephen Nedumpally, who was unveiled as Khureshi-Ab’ram, the leader of a powerful global crime syndicate. The film is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas in collaboration with Lyca Productions and features a talented technical crew, including cinematographer Sujith Vasudev and music director Deepak Dev. Scripted by Murali Gopi, Empuraan will pave the way for a third installment in the franchise, further expanding its storyline.

Scheduled for a grand worldwide release on March 27, 2025, the film will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. With over 700 screens planned in Kerala alone, Empuraan is set to become the biggest-ever release in Malayalam cinema history. Flynn’s addition to the cast has sparked excitement, adding an international touch to the film’s star-studded lineup.
