Godha director Basil Joseph to marry his 7 year long girlfriend

Director Basil Joseph, who is on a high with the success of his latest outing Godha, is all set to enter marital life. The director announced his wedding news with his followers through his official Facebook page.

Basil is marrying his long time girlfriend Elizabeth Samuel. They have been in a relationship for over seven years now. They both were college mates in the College of Engineering, Trivandrum.

Basil was a noted short filmmaker before entering the industry. Impressed by some of his works, Vineeth Sreenivasan offered him a chance to assist in Thira.

The 27 year old filmmaker made his directorial debut in 2015 with the fun filled entertainer Kunjiramayanam. The movie starring Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan was a sleeper success.

Basil’s recent release, Godha has won him a lot of appreciation. The movie starring Tovino Thomas, Wamiqa Gabbi and Renji Panicker in the lead roles, has been getting excellent response from the audience ever since it’s release on May 19. Unlike his debut movie, Godha had a bigger scale and the director has handled it with a lot of maturity.
