Govind Vasantha to compose for Nivin Pauly’s Padavettu

Recently, it was announced that Nivin Pauly would be starring in a movie titled ‘Padavettu’. Debutant Liju Krishna is directing the movie, which marks the maiden feature film production of actor Sunny Wayne. The makers have signed Govind Vasantha to compose music for the movie.

Govind is currently one of the most wanted music directors in the Tamil film industry. The sensational success of ’96’ has helped him bag back to back big projects in Tamil. It is after a long gap that Govind is scoring for a Malayalam movie. His last full length work in Malayalam was ‘Haram’, released four years back in 2015.

‘Padavettu’, according to the makers, is a rustic tale in which Nivin plays a naadan guy. Director Liju Krishna himself has scripted the movie. Earlier, he had directed a play titled ‘Moment Just Before Death’, which was also produced by
Sunny Wayne Productions.

Shoot for ‘Padavettu’ is expected to begin soon after Nivin wraps up ‘Thuramukham’.
