GV Prakash and Saindhavi blessed with a baby girl

Kollywood’s celebrity couple GV Prakash Kumar and Saindhavi have been blessed with a baby girl. Several of their colleagues from within the industry and other well wishers have wished the couple. Saindhavi and GV Prakash have been close friends ever since their school days. They got married in June, 2013.

On the professional front, GV, as a composer, has been on a purple patch. He currently has a handful of big projects in his kitty. Last year, he won praise from all corners for his spectacular work in ‘Asuran’. His better half Saindhavi had also sung the track ‘Ellu Vaya Pookalaye’, which was easily the best of the album.

GV Prakash’s upcoming films as a composer include ‘Soorarai Pottru’, ‘Vaadivasal’ and the multilingual biopic ‘Thalaivi’. The composer has pinned high hopes on ‘Soorarai Pottru’ that stars Suriya in the lead. The film has a lot of scope for music and he has been working on it for over a year. Similarly, expectations will be high on ‘Vaadivasal’, which marks his reunuion with director Vetrimaaran.
