Happy Wedding moving to super success in Kerala Box Office

Happy Wedding was the movie which released in this year May 20. This small movie from a group of comparatively fresh faces from Mollywood had released along with biggies like Dulquer Salmaan starrer movie Kammatipaadam and Jayaram starrer flick Aadu Puliyattam. But this small film made it big here in Kerala and the flick directed debutant Omar had really showed a fantastic performance at box office here.

As per reports, this low budget movie which is distributed here by Eros International, had got close to 9 crores from Kerala. The movie had made a comeback to many screens here as well after got removed earlier for the newly released flicks. This is indeed a sensational success for this small movie.

Premam fame actors like Siju Wilson, Sharafudeen, Justin, Soubin Shahir etc played the lead characters in this movie which was a romantic comedy. Arun Muraleedharan had tuned the music for this flick and Sinu Sidharth had cranked the camera. Maneesh KC and Praneesh Vijayan had written the screenplay of this movie and it was produced by Nazir Ali under the banner of Ozone productions.

The movie only released in limited number of screens at first. But when the positive word of mouth had spread all over, the screen increased for the movie. At a point, it got more than 100 screens here in Kerala due to heavy rush. Now it again made comeback to screens like Cinepolis, Perinthalmanna Vismaya etc.
