Hat-trick success for Mohanlal in Kochi multiplexes

With the success of his latest release Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Mohanlal has registered a hat-trick of successes in the Kochi Multiplexes. All his last three releases- Oppam, Pulimurugan and Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol have crossed the 1 crore mark in the Kochi multiplexes box office.

Mohanlal has four of his movies in the 1 crore grossers list in the Kochi multiplexes. Director Jeethu Joseph’s all time blockbuster Drishyam is the other Mohanlal starrer in the list. Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol had grossed an amount of Rs 8.65 crores from the first four days of its release in the Kochi multiplexes.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol continues to get excellent response from the audience. Families especially are visiting the theatres in large numbers. The movie directed by Vellimoonga fame Jibu Jacob, has a very good message as a take away for the families. Mohanlal and Meena have teamed up again after the success of Drishyam and their chemistry is one of the major highlights of the movie.

M Sindhuraj has written the movie based on the popular short story Pranayopanishath by James VJ. He has written the screenplay with the right proportions of comedy, romance and emotions to churn it out as an entertaining watch for the audience.

Apart from the lead stars, Anoop Menon, Srinda Arhaan, Aima Rose Sebastian, Sanoop Santhosh, Rahul Madhav, Neha Saxena, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sudheer Karamana, Kalabhavan Shajon, Alencier Ley Lopez, Sharafudheen, Asha Sarath and many others play supporting characters.
