Here’s how Baahubali is being dumped deliberately in the US

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is creating waves not only in the domestic box office. The movie has shattered several records overseas and is still going strong.

Baahubali 2 has achieved where no other Indian films have gone till date. It went right to the top of charts of the US box office records. Popular US based media group, Wall Street Journal called it India’s Stars Wars and is wondering how an Indian superhero film defeated Hollywood competitors at the box office. This SS Rajamouli directorial had had the the third largest opening for a foreign language film in US history.

US medias are absolutely shocked the phenomenal perfomance of Baahubali 2. It is now at the third place in the list only behind Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and The Fate of the Furious. But even after grossing over $16 million at US box office, the film has not received much of an attention from the foreign audience.

Non-Indian critics on Yahoo or Rotten Tomatoes have not yet reviewed the movie. Interestingly, on Rotten Tomatoes, Baahubali 2 had a 92% audience score and still no rating from critics. While two foreign organisations gave rating to the film, it was still not enough to get it overall critic rating. Eventhough, the movie had a massive success on IMAX, it got replaced by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 the very next week on almost all the screens.
