Here’s a Dussehra special poster from team Yatra!

As we already know, Malayalam superstar Mammootty is playing the lead in the biopic of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. The movie titled as Yatra is being directed by Mahi V Raghav. Shoot for the movie is currently progressing. Today, on the holy occasion of Dussehra, the makers have released a new poster through their official social media handle. With the new poster, they have also confirmed December 21 as the release date.

YSR is one of the most popular and revered politicians that the state of Andhra Pradesh has ever seen. Yatra, according to the makers, is an event-based film which primarily focuses on the time during YSR’s famous three-month-long padayatra in 2003. The padayatra was a defining moment in his career which transformed him into a people’s leader.

Apart from Mammootty, the movie also stars Rao Ramesh, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Posani Krishna Murali, Vinod Kumar and Sachin Khedekar. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devi Reddy are jointly producing the movie under their banner of 70MM Entertainments.
