Here’s the first look of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2

The much-hyped Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ is all set to go on floors. Taking everyone by surprise, director Shankar took to his official social media handle last day to release the first look. The poster gives a glimpse of Kamal Haasan’s Senapathi look and his hugely famous ‘varma kalai’. Along with the poster, the makers have also informed that the shoot will be commencing on January 18.

‘Indian 2’ is the sequel to the 1996 classic hit ‘Indian’. The movie will have Kamal Haasan reprising his role of Senapathi, a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante. Kajal Agarwal has been signed as the female lead. She has a prominent character in the movie and has already started training in Kalaripayattu. Nedumudi Venu will also be reprising his investigating officer’s look from the first part.

Shankar has scripted Indian 2 and dialogues are penned by Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairmuthu and Lakshmi Saravanakumar. Others in the technical crew include music director Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Ravi Varman, editor Sreekar Prasad and production designer Muthuraj. Lyca Productions is producing the movie.
