Here’s the first look of Malayalam anthology film Aanum Pennum; Release date announced

Directors Aashiq Abu, Venu and Jay K are coming together for a new Malayalam anthology film titled ‘Aanum Pennum’. Its first look poster has been released online. The makers have also announced that the film will be hitting screens on March 26.

In ‘Aanum Pennum’, Venu’s segment is the adaptation of Sahitya Akademi Award winning writer Uroob’s popular short story ‘Rachiyamma’. Parvathy and Asif Ali are playing the leads in it. Venu himself had penned the script and done the cinematography. Editing is done by his wife Beena Paul.

Aashiq Abu’s film starring Roshan Mathew and Darshana Rajendran is scripted by Unni R. Cinematographer Shyju Khalid, editor Saiju Surendran and composer Bijibal are part of its technical team.

‘Ezra’ fame Jay K’s film has Samyuktha Menon and Joju George as the leads. Scripted by Santhosh Echikkanam, film is set in the 50s. Rajeev Ravi is releasing the film in Kerala.
