Here’s the first look of Rajisha Vijayan’s June

Rajisha Vijayan won hearts with her endearing performance in her debut film ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’. The movie also won her a Kerala State Award for best actress in 2016. The following year, she did two films – ‘Georgettan’s Pooram’ and ‘Oru Cinemakkaran’. Both the films did not have much scope for her to perform. Now, Rajisha is back with a movie which promises to do justice to her true potential.

The first look poster of her new movie, ‘June’ was unveiled today in social medias. She is playing the titular role of a school going youngster in the film. The actress has undergone a major makeover for the character. Directed by debutant Ahamed Khabeer, the movie looks very promising. Ahamed has scripted the movie jointly with Libin Varghese and Jeevan Baby Mathew.

‘June’ is reportedly a coming-of-age story that discusses about the various issues faced by girls in their teenage. Joju George plays Rajisha’s father in the film and it is said to be a meaty role. Vijay Babu is producing the movie under his banner Friday Film House. The makers have already announced that it will be a February release, but the exact date is not yet known.
