Here’s a list of new Malayalam films coming out on OTTs

A bunch of Malayalam films are coming out on OTTs in the next couple of weeks. The much-acclaimed ‘Pada’ has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film starring Kunchacko Boban, Dileesh Pothan, Vinayakan, and Joju George is a political-thriller based on a real-life incident.

Mammootty’s recent blockbuster hit, ‘Bheeshma Parvam’ is set to premiere on Disney + Hotstar on April 1. The release date was announcing by sharing a trailer cut of the film on the OTT platform’s official YouTube page. The multilingual Prabhas-starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ is set for release on Amazon Prime Video on the same day.

The Tovino Thomas-starrer ‘Naradhan’ is scheduled to have its digital release on April 8 on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Aashiq Abu, the film is a journalism-based thriller that is intended as a commentary on the state of media and journalism in India.

Shane Nigam’s Veyil is another Mala film scheduled for release on Amazon Prime Video. It is slated to premiere on 15 April.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Arjun Ashokan-starrer ‘Member Rameshan 9am Ward’ will be out on Zee5 on April 1. ‘Thirimali’ starring Bibin George, Dharmajan and Johny Antony is also likely to start streaming on Manorama Max on April 1.

Apart from this, Dulquer Salmaan’s Tamil film Hey Sinamika is releasing on March 31 on Netflix and Jio Studios.

Mammootty’s ‘Puzhu’ is set to have a direct release on SonyLiv in April. But the makers are yet to officially announce the date.
