Here’s the release date of Asif Ali’s Kaattu

Promising filmmaker Arun Kumar Aravind, after a brief gap is making a comeback with Kaattu starring Asif Ali and Murali Gopy in major roles. The film is based on a short story by the iconic filmmaker Padmarajan. His son Ananthapadmanabhan has scripted this upcoming movie.

According to latest reports, Kaatu will also be joining the Pooja race and hit screens on September 28. Dulquer Salmaan’s Solo, Neeraj Madhav- Aju Varghese duo’s Lava Kusha, Biju Menon’s Sherlock Toms and Tovino Thomas’ Tharangam are some of the other movies that are expected to release during the Pooja holidays.

Kaattu is a revenge thriller set in the rustic locales of Palakkad. According to the makers, Asif Ali’s character Nuhukannu will be one of the most challenging roles in his career. Murali Gopy is playing a grey shaded character named Chellappan. Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Manasa Radhakrishnan will be seen as the female leads.

The teaser and songs of Kaattu have been highly impressive and has heightened the expectations among the audience. Deepak Dev has handled the music department while Prasanth Raveendran has wielded the camera.

Director Arun Kumar Aravind himself has produced this movie under his banner Karmayug films.
