Here’s Sivakarthikeyan as a superhero in ‘Hero’

The second look poster of Sivakarthikeyan’s new film ‘Hero’ has just been released online. The actor sports a superhero like mask in the poster. That mask reminds me of the one in Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish’. We presume that Sivakarthikeyan is playing a masked vigilante in this film, which is being directed by PS Mithran of ‘Irumbuthirai’ fame.

Touted to be an action-thriller, ‘Hero’ also stars ‘action king’ Arjun, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Bollywood star Abhay Deol in major roles. According to director Mithran, ‘Hero’ will be on the lines of his directorial debut ‘Irumbuthirai’, with a very relevant social message in it.

Abhay Deol reportedly plays the villain in the film. The actor is well known for his performances in Hindi films like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, ‘Manorama Six Feet Under’ and ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye’. ‘Hero’ marks his entry to Kollywood. It is also Kalyani Priyadarshan’s maiden Tamil film.

‘Hero’ has George C Willaims cranking the camera and Ruben handling the edits. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director. The film is being produced by KJR Studios.
