Here’s the title for Mammootty’s upcoming movie with Sharrath Sandith

Megastar Mammootty’s next with noted ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith recently went on floors in Bangalore. As per latest reports, movie has been titled as Parole. As the name suggests, some major portions will be shot in jail and it’s premises.

This yet to be titled movie marks the debut directorial of noted ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith’s. Mammootty has worked with Sharrath in some ad films for South Indian bank. The director has assured that his debut movie will have a classy presentation just like his ad films.

Parole, scripted by Ajith Poojappura is reportedly based on some true incidents. It is a family drama cum thriller in which Mammootty will be seen as a prisoner. It is worth a mention that Mammootty has previously played the role of prisoners in some of his popular films like New Delhi, Munnariyippu etc.

Mia George has been roped in to play one of the female leads in Parole. The makers are yet to finalise on the other heroine. The team is planning to complete the shoot in two schedules – 25 days in Bangalore and the rest in Kerala. Jude Sudheer and Juby Ninan are jointly producing the movie under the banner of J&J Productions.

Mammootty, meanwhile has a slew of movies in his kitty. He is currently on a schedule break from Rajadhiraja fame Ajai Vasudev’s Masterpice. The movie, scripted by Pulimurugan writer Udhayakrishna features Mammootty in the role of a college professor.

The final schedule of his upcoming family entertainer with 7th Day fame Shyam Dhar commenced recently in Idukki. This untitled movie is slated to hit screens for the Onam season.

Noted cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen’s debut directorial Streetlights is another movie in the pipeline. The movie is being made as a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam. It is funded by Mammootty’s own production house Playhouse Pictures.
