Debutant Dijo Jose Antony’s Queen continues to garner great response from the audience. The movie was released on January 12 and straightaway opened to positive response from the audience. The youth audience in particular have lapped up the movie, which has a bunch of newcomers playing the lead roles.

Inspired by the overwhelming response in Kerala, the makers are releasing the movie in UAE on February 2. Gulf countries have always been a good market for Malayalam movies. The extremely positive word of mouth in social medias will certainly help the movie to have a big opening in GCC.

Queen, scripted by Sharis Mohammed and Jebin Joseph Antony tells the story of a group of mechanical engineering students. is a fun campus film with a thriller element it. The plot takes off after the arrival of a girl who joins mech, a stream which is generally considered as a boys only fort. The movie also has a very relevant social message in it.

Not just the commoners, celebrities have also heaped praise on the movie. Sunny Wayne, ‘Guppy’ fame Master Chethan Lal, directors Jibu Jacob and Midhun Manuel Thomas are some of the noted personalities from the industry to have appreciated the movie wholeheartedly.
