Heroine of Mammootty to play Shakeela in her next

Mammootty starrer film White directed by Uday Ananthan is all set to release on this coming July 29 and the film got attention among the audience due to the presence of Bollywood beauty Huma Qureshi in it. She playing the female lead opposite Mammootty and plays the love interest of the character played by Mammootty.

Huma Qureshi is very excited about the release of her Mollywood debut film and she showered praises on Mammootty as well. As per the latest report that coming in, Huma Qureshi is all set to do a biopic sort of film and she will play the character of Shakeela in that movie.

Shakeela was one of the popular heroine of B- Grade Masala films in Malayalam and other south Indian languages. Film maker Indrajith Lankesh is all set to make her life story in to a movie and Huma Qureshi is chosen to play the female lead in it. It will be Hindi film as per reports and Shakeela had acted in his last movie named I love Alia along with Sunny Leone. Shakeela had played a cameo in that movie.

Indrajith said that the experiences she had to go through in her life and in her film career are the ones which motivated him to make a film based on her career. Earlier Silk Smitha’s life also made in to a film named Dirty Picture and Vidya Balan had got great appreciation for playing the character of Silk Smitha.
