Hong Kong based company bag Mamangam distribution rights for record price!

Mammootty’s ‘Mamangam’ continues to get good response from the common audience. As per the makers, the film got released in over 2000 screens across 45 countries worldwide. Recently, a Hong Kong based company has acquired the distribution rights for a record price to release the film in China. A note in the film’s official Facebook page reads,

Extremely Happy To Announce That We are All Set To Release In China… We Were Offered A Record Prize For Chinese Rights By A Hong Kong Based Distribution Company !!! (sic)

From the worldwide box office, the film had grossed a whopping Rs 60.70 crores from its first four day itself. Though the critic reviews have been mixed, the fact that the film got a massive worldwide release in multiple languages has helped a great deal in the box office collections. Apart from the orginal Malayalam version, ‘Mamangam’ has been released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
