I’m a big fan of Vijay and would love to work with him again: Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is one of the very few Indian actors who have won global recognition. The former Miss World is now one of the top most paid actors in the country and enjoys massive popularity worldwide. Except a few English films, that she did recently, almost all her films have been in Hindi. But not many that her acting career started in the Tamil film industry.

Her debut film was Thamizhan in which she was paired opposite Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The pretty actress played Vijay’s romantic interest in the film. Interestingly, she also had lent her voice for the song ‘Ullathai Killathe’ along with Vijay in the movie.

Recently, in an interactive season with her followers in Twitter, Priyanka was asked about Vijay by one of the users. The actress replied that she is a great fan of the Tamil star and would love to work with him again. It would be really great if such a project happens anytime soon. Lets hope it materializes very soon.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with her Indian production ventures and a couple of English films – A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t it Romantic?. She is also doing philanthropic activities as she has been appointed as an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Vijay on the other hand is basking in the glory of his latest release Mersal. Inspite of all the political issues and boycott calls from doctors, the movie is doing phenomenal business across the globe. It is expected to storm into the elite 200 crore club very soon and become the first ever Vijay film to do so.
