I told Pranav Mohanlal, I can’t do anything : Mohanlal

Malayalis all over the world are waiting to see Pranav Mohanlal on screen this year. The celebrated star kid has signed for his debut as a male lead for director Jeethu Joseph’s upcoming action thriller. Mohanlal in a recent media interaction talked about his son’s acting debut and how he hopped on to the project.

Mohanlal said, “He is doing all that I wanted to do when I was his age. He travels a lot, reads many books and makes music of his own. A lot of people, even from Tamil film industry approached him with scripts. Many ad films were also offered. He told me that he’ll act in Jeethu Joseph’s movie as he feels comfortable working with him because he has already assisted Jeethu Joseph in two movies.”

“One day he came to me asked me how to act. I told him, I cannot do anything. He cannot act well just because he is my son. He has to prove that. I can help him by producing one or two movies. If that doesn’t click, I can’t do much. It’s a magic for people to like him. Let that happen.”

Pranav Mohanlal is currently undergoing training in Parkour, a kind of training in jumping, running and climbing walls to play the part perfectly. Jeethu Joseph has earlier said that the movie will be an action thriller on the lines of his superhit movie Memories. Mohanlal’s home production house Aashiravad Cinemas is producing this yet-to-be titled movie which is set to go on floors this year.
