I wish to act in a commercial Bollywood movie: Unni Mukundan

Unni Mukundan, one of the busiest among the younger generation of Malayali actors is trying to gain a foothold in the Telugu film industry. The actor made his debut in Tollywood last year by playing the antagonist the blockbuster movie Janatha Garage. He will be next seen in Bhagmati alongside Anushka Shetty, who is now a nationwide star after the phenomenal success of Baahubali.

Unni Mukundan in a recent interview opened up about his wish to act in a Hindi film. Now that he has established himself in Telugu by being a part of a couple of big ticket films, the actor wishes to act in a commercial Bollywood movie. Since he was brought up in Gujarat, Unni is also well versed in Hindi. His good looks, well built physique and his ability to dance and do stunts makes him a perfect Bollywood material. The actor is hopeful of getting an opportunity to work in a Hindi film very soon.

His next release will be Masterpiece starring Megastar Mammootty in the lead. Unni reportedly plays a police officer in this mass entertainer directed by Ajai Vasudev of Rajadhiraja fame. His Telugu movie Bhagmati is also gearing up for release.

The movie directed by G Ashok is a big budget comic horror thriller. Anushka Shetty plays the central character while Unni Mukundan plays a prominent role as a social activist. Apart from Unni Mukundan, other Malayali actors like Jayaram and Asha Sarath are also part of the cast. The movie is also being dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil languages.
