Indian 3 Confirmed by Kamal Haasan: A Promising Continuation of the Magnum Opus

Kamal Haasan, a pioneer in Indian cinema, recently released the much-awaited first glimpse of the Kamal Haasan-Shankar team’s highly anticipated sequel, ‘Indian 2,’ which took the internet by storm. This ambitious Pan-Indian venture serves as the follow-up to the 1996 classic blockbuster ‘Indian,’ originating from the same powerhouse duo.

Initially, due to the extensive footage amassed during the filming of ‘Indian 2,’ there were speculations about dividing the story into two parts, with the latter segment being unveiled as ‘Indian 3.’

In a recent media interaction, Kamal Haasan himself officially confirmed the existence of ‘Indian 3.’ Industry insiders reveal that the veteran actor has dedicated 40 days to the completion of this much-anticipated third installment.

While ‘Indian 2’ is reportedly gearing up for a 2024 April release, ‘Indian 3’ is scheduled to enthrall audiences on the festive occasion of 2024 Diwali. Official announcements regarding the release dates are yet to be made public.

‘Indian 2’ is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, showcasing a stellar cast featuring Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Karthik, Sidharth, Guru Somasundaram, Bobby Simha, Kalidas Jayaram, and Samuthirakani, among other talents.

Anirudh Ravichander, renowned for his musical brilliance, leads the composition for this monumental project. The screenplay is masterfully penned by B Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu, and Lakshmi Saravanakumar in collaboration with director Shankar.
