Indian Super League : Nivin Pauly offers VIP tickets for IM Vijayan

The ball is all set to roll for one final time in this year’s edition of the Indian Super League between Kerala Blasters FC and Atletico de Kolkata. The final match will be played tonight at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi.

Before the final, the Kerala Sports Authority (KSA) and Football Association have found themselves in a controversy after yesteryear star player of Indian football, IM Vijayan alleged that the association members gave him two general tickets while others who had no connection with the game were offered VIP passes.

Youth Ambassador of Kerala Blasters FC, actor Nivin Pauly has now stepped in and offered IM Vijayan passes for the VIP lounge to watch the game with him.

IM Vijayan himself revealed the information to the medias. After coming to know about the incident through news channels, Nivin Pauly called and requested Vijayan to watch the game with him by offering VIP passes. Vijayan accepted the offer happily and said that he will join the actor to watch the game from the lounge.

The footballer also said that, the KSA have given VIP passes to those people who does not know anything about the game while football lovers from many parts of the state are still looking for tickets. He also added that he would not have had to face such an insult if the game was hosted in Kolkata, where he would have been special invited.
