Indrajith as a police officer in Kurup; Check out this new poster!

We were among the first to report that Indrajith Sukumaran will be playing a prominent role in ‘Kurup’. The makers have released a new poster of him, from which we can make out that he plays a police officer. The film, which has Dulquer Salmaan in the titular role is based on the the life of Kerala’s most wanted criminal, Sukumara Kurup.

Srinath Rajendran of ‘Second Show’ and ‘Koothara’ fame is directing the film. It has its story penned by Jithin K Jose and screenplay written jointly by KS Aravind and Daniel Sayooj Nair. This is the first Indrajith and Dulquer are acting together in a film, so there is already an excitement about it.

Dulquer welcomed Indrajith with a post on his social media handle, which reads,

Super thrilled to have my dear Indrajith on board for Kurupu. He’s looking so dapper in his look for the film. It will be our first movie together and I can’t wait to have a blast on the sets.

Besides Indrajith and Dulquer, ‘Kurup’ also stars Sunny Wayne and Shine Tom Chacko in crucial roles. It is being produced by Dulquer’s own production house, Wayfarer Films and M Stars. Nimish Ravi of ‘Luca’ fame is cranking the camera and Sushin Shyam handles the music department. National award winning editor Vivek Harshan and art director Banglan are part of the technical crew.
