It’s a wrap for Kaanekaane!

The makers of ‘Kaanekaane’ have called it a wrap after 38 of shoot. Tovino Thomas, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shruti Ramachandran and Suraj Venjaramoodu will be seen playing the lead roles in the film. It marks the reunion of the ‘Uyare’ combo — director Manu Ashokan and script writer duo Bobby-Sanjay. The film was conceived and shot completely in just six months time.

Director Manu Ashokan shared the excitement in wrapping up the shoot through his social media handle. He has written,

And we WRAPPED it UP. A movie in six months . Cant believe… thank you team KAANEKKANE for the hard work. It was really enjoying to work with you all for the last 38 days…

Unlike Manu Ashokan’s debut film ‘Uyare’, which was an inspiring story based on true events, ‘Kaanekaane’ is a fictional tale of real human relationships and emotions. As per the makers, the film offers great scope for performance and the four lead actors — Tovino Thomas, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shruti Ramachandran and Suraj Venjaramoodu — will be seen in equally important roles. Prem Prakash and Rony David Raj are also essaying major roles.

On the technical front, Alby Antony is the DOP and Abhilash Chandran, the editor. Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame is composing the music. The film is being produced under the banner of DreamKatcher.
