At last the wait is over for the Vijay fans and film lovers worldwide as the Atlee directorial Vijay film, which is his 59th film was titled as Theri. Till now it has been called as Vijay 59 tentatively and everyone was very much awaiting for the title of this Vijay film as the project is also a much awaited one. The last film of Vijay directed by Chimbu Devan titled Puli was a failure and because of that this Atlee directorial film has become much anticipated as everyone expects that Vijay will make a grand comeback through this film which is said to be an early next year release. Some says it will come in Pongal and some reports says it will come in next year Mayor June only.

Atlee is very much popular for his super success and critically appreciated entertainer named Raja Rani which had Arya, Jai, Nazriya and Nayan Thara in the lead. So when one of the most valuable star in Tamil joins hands with one of the most promising film maker in the town, the expectations are bound to rise. In this film there is an interesting thing that Vijay is coming as a full-fledged Police Officer role for the first time in his career.

Even though he had played some cop roles before in films like Pokkiri, Jilla etc, those were not full-fledged ones. But this one will be different. He is reportedly playing an assistant commissioner of Police in Chennai in this film. The film has two heroines and they are Samantha and Amy Jackson. One female lead will come in a flash back part of the film as per reports.

Anyway the title is going viral in social media platforms as usual and Vijay fans are getting ready for a Theri Mass next year. The film is very much important to them as well because they were hugely disappointed by their star’s performance in Puli and also as we said above the film was also a total disappointment for the fans. It’s now time for the Theri mass for Kollywood.
