Jacob Gregory celebrates his birthday on the sets of Unda

Last day, the second schedule of Mammootty starrer Unda commenced in Wayanad. The movie directed by ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’ (AKV) fame Khalid Rahman is an action-comedy entertainer. The second schedule kick-started on a joyous note as actor Jacob Gregory celebrated his birthday on sets. A small cake cutting was held with all the cast and crew members wishing Gregory.

Unda has Mammootty playing the role of a police sub-Inspector. The movie traces the events that occur when an unit of policemen from Kerala reach the Naxalite prone areas in North India on election duty. Vinay Forrt, Shine Tom Chacko, Jacob Gregory, Sudhi Koppa, Arjun Ashokan and Lukman play policemen in the movie.

After wrapping up the ongoing schedule in Wayanad, the team will be shifting to Chhattisgarh for a few patch up works. We hear that around 20 days of shoot is still left for the movie. The technical crew of ‘Unda’ comprises of cinematographer Gavemic U Ary, music director Prashanth Pillai and action choreographer Sham Kaushal.

Krishnan Sethukumar of Movie Mill is presenting the movie in association with Gemini Studio. The movie is expected to hit screens by the second half of the year.
