Jacobinte Swargarajyam fame Reba Monica John bags a Tamil movie

Malayali actresses have always had good acceptance from the Tamil audience. From the days of Shobhana to Asin to Nayanthara and more recently to Keerthy Suresh, Malayali heroines have always been hot favourites in Kollywood. Reba Monica John is the latest from M Town to foray into the Tamil film industry.

Reba, who made her entry to the film industry in 2015 with Nivin Pauly’s Jacobinte Swargarajyam will make her Tamil debut opposite Jai. The movie will be directed by Pichumani, a former associate of Venkat Prabhu. It is said to be an action packed entertainer.

The team has already completed around 25% of the film’s shoot and are planning to release it by mid February. Noted Tamil actor Nithin Sathya is funding this yet-to-be-titled movie. Bobo Shashi is handling the music department while Aravind and Praveen KL are handling cinematography and editing respectively.

Reba Monica John will be next seen opposite Neeraj Madhav in Paipinchuvattile Pranayam an upcoming romantic entertainer. The movie directed by newcomer Domin D’silva focuses on romance, comedy and some relevant social issues. Its official teaser was released recently and the movie is expected to hit screens very soon.
